Merry Christmas Snow Buddy - Paper Craft Crew Challenge #16

Well, I made another snowman card, this time using the other image from the Snow Much Fun stamp set.  This card was made  using the sketch challenge with PCCSC 16 here
One thing I learned today.  Never make a card and try to bake shortbread cookies at the same time.  You guessed it!  My cookies burned - not enough to ruin the taste, but enough that I can't use them for company.
My card turned out okay.  Here it is:

Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch 16

Stamps:  Snow Much Fun, Petite Pairs
Inks: Black Stazon, SU Markers
Papers: Real Red, Whisper White, Snow Festival DSP, Silver Glitter, Gumball Green
Accessories: Scallop border punch, Square Lattice embossing folder, Circle die #2, Mat pack & Paper Piercer, Word Window punch, Modern Word Label punch, Vintage faceted buttons, glue dots, small circle punch.

The image was stamped onto Whisper White cardstock die cut with the Circle die #2 and was then colored with markers.  Before mounting it onto a Red circle, the mat pack & paper piercer was used to pierce holes all the way around the circle.
The base card is Real Red layered with Whisper White and then strips of DSP and Gumball Green card stock, the latter of which was embossed with the Square lattice folder.  The Gumball Green cardstock was mounted onto silver glitter paper, which was edged with a strip of scalloped Real Red cardstock.
The embellishments used were faceted vintage buttons underneath which were placed a small circle of silver glitter paper - so they showed off a bit better.

I just love your card Maria! Love the snowman and the buttons remind me of ice on this card... Now I'm missing snow and building a snowman :( Not much snow in Eastern North Carolina.
