Shamrock - Try Stampin' on Tuesday #53

Valentine's Day is now over and I hope all of you got lots of chocolates and/or red roses.
Our next major day of celebration is St. Patrick's Day especially if you're of Irish Origin - which a lot of the citizens of this town are.
In the 17th century, the founder of Peterborough was commissioned by the then Government of Upper Canada to bring a boatload of Irish citizens to settle in this area.  Ireland at that time was in the middle of a potato famine.
The evidcence of their settlement can be seen by the names of communities near us e.g.  Monaghan, Douro, and street names e.g. Dublin
Now I don't have a drop of Irish blook in me.  My family emigrated from Holland, so my blood is totally Dutch.  But that doesn't mean I can't celebrate with the Irish.
Today's card for Try Stampin' with Tuesday here is a St. Patrick's day card.
Here is the sketch:

Here is my card:
The Irish hat was made first, using the tab punch and the word window punch with Garden Green card stock  I scooped the word window punch out with a 1 1/4" circle punch.  A 5/8" piece of black grosgrain ribbon  became the hat band. The shamrock on the hat was made using  3 punchies fromthe Heart to Heart punch (the smallest heart) and covering it with Dazzling details mixed with Olive glitter. The stem was cut freehand.
The hat was attached to a black shamrock which was made with 3 Scalloped Heart of Hearts - with dimensionals

Here's the recipe for the card:
Stamp: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Inks:Basic Black
Papers: Garden Green, Whisper White, Basic Black, Garden Green, Garden Green designer paper
Accessories: Punches:  Tab, Word Window, Curly Label, Heart to Heart, 1 1/4" circle, Dazzliing details, Olive glitter, 5/8" Black grosgrain ribbon, 3/8" black dotted scalloped ribbon, Scalloped Heart to Hearts die, dimensionals
