Christmas is one week today. Can you believe it? Hope all of you are getting your gifts made, your shopping done, and your presents wrapped!
The weather in Southern Ontario has been more like October, with the temperature minus 13 degrees C one day and plus 12 degrees the next (the weather forecaster calls this flip flop weather) and there is no snow on the ground. So, although the weather outside is frightful, it seems decidedly UnChristmasy (is that a word?)
I have been making Christmas cards since early July ( made and sold about 400 ++ at markets and craft fairs) so for the sketch challenge with Try Stampin on Tuesday here I decided not to make a Christmas card. Instead, I focused on the new stamp sets etc from the new Occasions Mini Catalogue (from which non demonstrators can order from starting Jan. 2)
The Rock and Roll technique was used to create the focal image.
The designer paper is Cherry Cobbler embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing folder
Stamps: Mixed Bunch, Loving Thoughts, Take It To Heart
Inks: Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler
Papers: Whisper White, Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler
Accessories:Scallop Border Punch, Mat Pack and Paper piercer, Rhinestones, dimesionals, Square Lattice embossing folder
Hope all of you have a very Merry Christmas. Stay safe and be happy!
