A horrible rainy day in Eastern Ontario today. My son and I spent the day moving furniture around and generally raising a lot of dust! Tomorrow I go to get my flu "shot" as flu season is right around the corner and our immune system has to get up to paar before it does.
Hope all is well with you this Friday - and time again for a mini blog hop with Sketch Frenzy Friday.
Today's sketch is by Tammy Baldwin
The technique I use in today's card leaves me positively "chilly"
Stamp: A Wish for Peace
Inks: chocolate Chip, Versa mark
Papers: Chocolate chip, Very vanilla, Holly Berry bouquet designer paper, Silver glimmer paper
Accessories: Northern Flurries embossing folder, 1/4" Real Red Grosgrain ribbon, 1/2" circle punch, Northern Frost Decorative Strip die, clear embossing powder
All edges plus the raised embossed surfaces, were sponged heavily with chocolate chip ink
The focal image was then embossed with clear embossing powder 4 times, after which it was placed in the freezer for a couple of hours. When taken out of the freezer, the image was cracked deliberately in several places giving it the cracked ice look. In the picture you really can't see the ice cracks, but in real life they are "awesome"
Now its up to you to create a card or project using Tammy's sketch. Don't forget to upload it to the homepage of Sketch Frenzy Friday here
Your next stop on the blog hop is Patrice's blog here. And don't forget to check out the blogs of the other team members, whose name and blog address are in the side bar of this blog.
Have a wonderful week, and I hope to see you next time.
