When I saw the sketch challenge with Technostamper I immediately thought of an ornament - a pearl one.
Here is the sketch:
Here is how my card turned out:
The base of the card is Very Vanilla, matted with a layer of Brushed Gold card stock embossed with the Finial Press embossing folder. A border punched with the scallop border punch was adhered to the left side of this piece.
The designer paper, Letters to Santa, was embossed with Vintage wallpaper embossing folder and then embossed with gold embossing powder. See this post. This was matted with Very Vanilla card stock
Stamps: Merry & Type
Inks: Versa Mark
Papers: Very Vanilla, Brushed Gold, Letters to Santa designer paper,
Accessories: Embossing folders - Finial Press, Vintage Wallpaper; Pearls, 1/8" Whisper white taffeta ribbon, 5/8 Whisper White organza ribbon, 1 3/8" circle punch, Scallop oval pupnch, Gold embossing powder, dimensionals, glue dots
In making the ornament, I punched out a 1 3/8" circle in Very Vanilla, and randomly placed pearls of different sizes over the entire surface of the circle.
