This was indeed a challenge with Paper Pal Artists - to work with only 3 shades of blue (Bashful Blue, Marina Mist and Not Quite Navy) here. I immediately thought of the Elements of Style stamp set, but wasn't happy with the way the finished image looked on Whisper White card stock, so I redid it on Vellum.
The image was stamped with Black Stazon ink, then watercolor crayon and Aqua was appliewith the Aqua Painter to the flowers only in this order: Bashful Blue, Marina Mist, and finally Not Quite Navy.
After the image was colored, I applied Bashful Blue ink (with a sponge) to the entire surface of the wrong side of the Vellum, and inked the edges with Marina Mist ink.
Stamp: Elements of Style
Inks: Watercolor crayone (Bashful Blue, Marina Mist, Not Quite Navy), Bashful blue ink, Marina Mist ink, Black Stazon, Marina Mist marker
Papers: Not Quite Navy Base, followed by a layer of Bashful Blue, then Marina Mist. The image was stamped on Vellum and then matted on Whisper white
Accessories: 1/4" white taffeta ribbon colored with a Marina Mist marker, 1" circle punch, glue dots, dazzling diamonds, pearls.
I missed the deadline for the linkz, but I'll keep it posted on my blog.
