I'm beginning to make my masculine cards more generic i.e. not designated as Father's Day, birthday, etc as that makes the card more versatile when selling them in a market environment. "Just for You" can cover a lot of territory.
I used the sketch challenge at Inkspirations here to make this card.
I started out by punching out 6 pieces of Nautical Expedition Designer Paper with the new Postage stamp punch, and mounting the pieces of Sahara Sand card stock. Then I embossed the panel with the Square Lattice embossing folder, and mounted it on a piece of Not Quite Navy Cardstock. A few wraps of Baker's twine around the panel and it was done.
The base of the card is Cherry Cobbler. The next layer is Sahara Sand. This layer I stamped with one of the stamps from the Open Sea in Not Quite Navy, and sponged the edges.
Stamps: The Open Sea, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Inks: Not Quite Navy
Papers: Cherry Cobbler, Sahara Sand, Not Quite Navy, Nautical Expedition Designer Paper
Accessories: Postage Stamp punch, small oval punch, 1 3/4 X 7/8" oval punch, Scallop border punch, silver brads, Baker's twine, Square Lattice embossing folder, Stampin dimensionals.

Love how you used the lower panel as your focal panel - brilliant take on the sketch. Thanks so much for joining us at Inkspirations this week.
