The Color Challenge with Connie & Mary here uses the colors: Poppy Parade, Sahara Sand and Not Quite Navy. I must admit this color combination was quite a challenge!!
Stamp: Word Play
Inks: Not Quite Navy
Papers: Poppy Parade, Sahara Sand, Not Quite Navy, Poppy Parade desiger paper from pack
Accessories: Beautiful Butterfly die, Fun Flower die, Top Note die, 5 Petal punch, Boho Blossom Punch, vintage brads, Square lattice embossing folder, Silver smooch, dimensionals
In this picture the butterfly easel is in the "up" position. For mailing, the butterfly lies flat as in the next picture.
To make the butterfly easel check the video I made "Triple Butterfly Easel" - only I used 2 butterflies this time and 2 different sizes. This video is on my You Tube channel.
Flower: Bottom layer is from Fun Flower die. I accordion folded each petal. The second layer is the 5 petal punch. I made a small snip between each petal then curled both sides of each petal and pinched the ends.
The middle was made using the largest flower of the Boho petal punch. Punch 3 using Sahara Sand, & sponge edges with Not Quite Navy ink on both sides. Spritz with water. While damp, layer them, pierce a hole with a paper piercer, & insert a brad. Then bunch the layers up one at a time and scrunch the top. Then gently unwind then until you have the shape you want.
Glue layers together, spritz with smooch. When dry attach to card with a dimensional
