I used various tutorial from the web to make this twisted easel card - not any one in particular. Once I got the concept I made it on my own.
Various punches were used in various combinations to make the sunflower and the sentiment.
This is what the card looks like closed.
I took an 8 1/2 X 4 1/4" piece of Chocolate Chip card stock, and folded it in half. It was creased well with a bone folder.
After opening the card, I scored a line from the lower left of the top half near the fold to the upper right hand corner. Fold on the score line. This makes the fold where the card props open.
Stamps: Because I Care, Word Play
Inks: Chocolate chip ink, chocolate chip maker, Wild Wisabi
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Pear Pizzazz, More Mustard, Daffodil Delight, Very Vanilla, Woodland Walk Designer Paper
Accessories: Flower Petal Punch, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch (image 2 and 3), 1 1/4 circle punch, 1/2" circle punch, 2 3/8" scallop circle punch, 1 3/4" circle punch, Corner rounder punch, 1/4" chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon, stampin dimensionals, Vintage brad
Sunflower: Punch 10 Daffodil Delight flower petals using the large flower on the Flower Petal Punch. With a 1/2" circle punch, punch out the tip of each of the petals. Lay each petal on a mat pack, and with a stylus score each petal in the middle and fold each petal up slightly.
Punch 9 More Mustard flower petals using the small flower on the Flower Petal Punch. Again, punch out the tips using the 1/2" circle punch.and score a line in the middle.
Sponge all edges with Chocolate Chip ink
Apply sticky tape to a 1 1/4" circle punched in chocolate chip. Attach the larger petals around the circle slighty overlapping the petals. Leave a gap in the bottom for the stem. Attach the smaller petals around the circle over top of the larger ones.
Center: Punch 1 image 2 of the Triple Layer Punch in chocolate chiup, and 1 image 2 in More Mustard. Adhere together offsetting the scallops. Sponge the edges of image 2 with more mustard. Adhere to center of sunflower with a couple of dimensionals. Pierce a hole in the middle and insert a Vintage brad.
Cut a stem and 2 leaves freehand and sponge with Wild Wasabi ink.
Here is a close up of the flower
Here the card is open, showed the twisted easel. The edge props against the sentiment which is mounted on the card with dimensionals.
