I don't know why this sketch from Stamping 411 here stumped me. I looked at it all last evening - and nothing, no ideas at all. Even when I looked at the samples I still couldn't get my head around it. It might have been the stress of the day.
This morning I had an ah ah moment, and this is the result:
Stamp: You're a Gem
Inks: Baja Breeze, Markers (Baja Breeze, So Saffron in the middle of the flowers)
Papers: Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla, Springtime Vintage Designer Paper
Accessories: Finial Press embossing folder, Scallop Circle #2 die, Fancy Flowers die, Vintage Brad, pearls, rhinestone, Crochet Trim (1/2" Chantilly), Modern Label Punch, Scallop border punch
This is a close up of the flowers. For the larger flower I snipped between each petal, and curled the ends in with a stylus. The edges were generously sponged with Baja Breeze ink. Markings in the center are Baja Breeze and So Saffron. A vintage brad and pearls around that complete the flower
For the smaller flower, I again snipped between the petals, and between the scallops on the top of each petal. The ends were then curled up with a bone folder. The center was filled with a cluster of pearls.
