CD Calendar

I am making a CD calendar as a Christmas present for a family member.  Here is the page for January.

I first painted the whole page with Frost White all purpose paint, and after it was dry I applied colour using chalk.  For the grass I used a light green followed by a dark green.  The sky was coloured with a light blue and a dark blue.  The moon was created by masking with a 1 3/4" round punchie.  I blended the coloured areas with a paper towel to blend the colours.
The trees (Lovely as a Tree) were embossed with black embossing powder
