Tropical Trees in the desert - sketch challenge with Cardscrapes

This image was done using reinkers and rubbing alcohol on vellum.  The colours I used were:  more than mustard, and creamy caramel.
Once dry, I used old olive marker directly on the tropical tree stamp and stamped the image onto the vellum. I also put a touch of pretty in pink, and blue in the sky - if you look closely you can see it.
The vellum is backed with So Saffron, to give it that sandy, stormy feeling.
Stamps: Tropical Party
Papers:  Very Vanilla, Whisper White, Vellum, So Saffron, Island Oasis Designer Series Paper
Ink:  Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive
Other:  Old Olive grosgrain ribbon
