What do you do on nights that you can't sleep? Tonight is a full moon, and apparently sleeplessness is associated with a full moon.
So, what do you do? Make cards. I needed to make some more wedding cards for the Farmer's Market on Thursday, so I used the Mojo sketch challenge to make a wedding card using the stamp set: "Blissful Bride"
I started with a base card of Whisper White. The next layer is also Whisper White, but is embossed with the finial embossing folder.
The image was stamped with basic black. The ribbon and waist flowers was the only part of the image coloured, and they were coloured with a Ballet Blue marker and blender pen. Next dazzling diamonds were applied to the dress using the 2-way glue pen.
The dress image was matted with ballet blue card stock.
The buttons in the 4 corners was a 2-step process. First I stamped 4 images of flowers from the Itty Bitty Bits with ballet blue. Each flower was punched out using the new small flower punch. This paper image was adhered in place and a clear bitty button was applied on top of it with a mini glue dot.
The matted image was adhered with stampin dimensionals to a mat that was 1/3 ballet blue, and 2/3 whisper white embossed with the finial folder and glittered with dazzling diamonds.
The ribbon is SU taffeta.
The bracketed piece on the bottom on which "bliss" is stamped, was punched with the label curly punch, embossed and sponged with ballet blue.
