Canada's National Colours - Challenge 66

The Canadian Flag:

I'm a proud Canadian, and our National Colours are Red and White. This Canadian Flag was made using those colours

Stamp Set:  Canada Day
Papers:  Real Red and Whisper White Cardstock
Inks:  Real Red, SU marker (real red)
The real red marker was used to isolate the word "Canada" with the 3 little maple leaves from the word stamp that accompanied this stamp set, and randomly stamped the image on Whisper White paper.
Dazzling diamonds was applied to the red side bars and the central Maple Leaf to make the flag stand out more from its white background

Happy Canada Day
The second card I did a little differently.  The same stamp set was used.
Images were randomly stamped on Whisper White paper, with the word  "Canada" stamped randomly in between them.  A strip of Whisper White paper was embossed with the Polka Dot embossing folder and the Big Shot, and Real Red ink was lightly sponged over the surface to make the "dots" more pronounced. A 1" Double-stitched Grosgrain ribbon and bow  was attached to this strip.  All edges were sponged with Real Red ink.
Crystal Effects really made the leaves stand out more.
The Maple Leaf images were stamped with Real Red ink, and cut out and randomly placed on the stamped Whisper White paper.
