Awash with Flowers meets All a Flutter - Simply Sunday Sketch #8

The flower was made in 4 stages.  First the image was stamped (and coloured with Brocade Blue markers) on white cardstock with basic black.ink Two more images were stamped on vellum and embossed with black.  These two images were coloured with Brocade Blue markers, cut out, and layered over the stamped image.  In order to spread the petal out, each petal was cut along the embossed line almost to the green bud.
The same was done with the stem and leaves.  They were coloured with old olive.
The butterfly was stamped and embossed with black embossing powder on vellum paper, coloured and cut out.

Inks/Markers:  Brocade blue, old olive, more mustard, really rust, creamy caramel, lovely lilac.
Paper:  Whisper white, vellum, Brocade blue
Other:  Modern label punch, Top Note Die and Big Shot, Square Lattice Embossing folder, rust coloured brads, white satin ribbon
