Digital Design Studio - Certified, but still "One Day at a Time"

I heard from Stampin' Up last week that I obtained my certification for MDS, although I certainly don't know everything about the program yet.

However, I did create a calendar for my daughter and her family as a Christmas present, and I'm very pleased as to how it turned out. I did have some frustrating moments when I went to burn the DVD, but it turned out that the DVD's I was working with were defective.  I played the DVD at my Open House to promote the MDS.  Next time I will fill in more info on the calendar itself and insert "hot buttons" - however, one thing at a time. Uploading the calendar to Stampin' Up was also fraught with frustration.  It turns out that MDS is designed to work with Internet Explorer, not Firefox (which of course I use).  After changing internet servers I was off running.
Everyday I learn something new about MDS - one thing at a time.  This I learned when I did my Master's Degree.
When I started Post Graduate school I was very computer illerate.  However, all assigments had to be done using a certain word processing program- a program I had no idea how to use (heck I didn't know how to use a computer!).  Reading the manual was too overwhelming, and if you're anything like me, after you've read something, you can't remember it when you go to put it into practice.
My tactic was to learn one new aspect of the processing program with each new assignment or e-mail. By the end of my degree program I had accomplished my goal.
I think the same tactic will work with the MDS program.  "One thing at a time"
