Valentine Card - Me and My Dog - The Paper Players #230

I wasn't going to make any more Valentine cards, but this challenge with The Paper Players here I couldn't resist.
The "theme" challenge is all about a Valentinte TO or FROM a FURRY friend! I had a particular  stamp set in mind called "Bobby and Me" - a Stampavieve stamp.
You can just see that the boy and his dog just love each other, so Bobby is giving the dog a Valentine, and the dog is giving one in return - Woof means I love you in dog language. I had to do a bit of creative stamping to get the word "Woof", but I managed.

 

After colouring the image with blendabilities, it was cut out and placed on two die cut hearts - one die cut from DSP and a smaller one from Real Red card stock.  Dimensionals were used to pop the image up a bit because I wanted to put a Valentine in  Bobby's hand.  The stamp set "Just Sayin" and its coordinating framelits was used to make the "woof" for the dog sound.  I removed the red ink from all the letters except the "woo" and then added the "f" with a Real Red marker.
The heart in Bobby's hand is from "Snuggles & Smooches" and punched with the new Sweetheart punch.  The sentiment was from a retired stamp set  "P.S. I Love You"

Traveler 4 by 4" note cards and coordinating box

A couple of weeks ago it was my Open House, and not everyone did a make and take, so I had some materials left over.
I decided to make them into a set of 4 by 4" blank cards, make envelopes to fit, and place them in a coordinating box made with the envelope punch board.
My plan is to offer them for sale at one of several craft shows planned for the next 3 weeks.

Here is the box filled with 4 note cards (4 by 4") and envelopes, and one of the cards beside it.

Here is just the box.  I stamped a piece of Very Vanilla card stock before punching and scoring it with the envelope punch board.  All edges were sponged with Early Espresso ink.  An image of the train was stamped on Very Vanilla card stock, die cut using the circles framelits, and backed with the scallop circle die.  Again the edges were sponged before assembling the 2 together.
I wrapped a piece of burlap ribbon around the box to keep it closed and adhered the image unit to the ribbon using dimensionals.
To make the box, just add 1" to the dimensionals of the paper size indicated on the punch board for a 4 by 4 card.

This is the 4 by 4" note card.  The base is Early Espresso card stock, layered with Very Vanilla cardstock embossed with the Chevron folder.
The image is stamped with Early Espresso ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock, and layered with Early Espresso card stock.  All edges of the Very Vanilla cardstock are sponged with Early Espresso ink.
A piece of Early Espresso Baker's twine (now retired) was placed around the layers of the card and tied in a know.
The sentiment is from Just Sayin' and die cut using the coordinating framelits.  It is adhered to the card front using dimensionals.
