Dandy Garden DSP background

 Some DSP's are more challenging to work with than others, and that was the case with the Dandy Garden DSP.

And a challenge is a challenge, so here is the outcome

The background was created using the Tailor's Tag punch and select patterns from the Dandy Garden DSP - mainly the patterns featuring the Misty Moonlight and Bumblebee colours.

These punched pieces were adhered to a piece of Misty Moonlight card stock leaving a small border between them - creating a mosaic pattern.  This was matted with a Whisper White layer which was then adhered to a Misty Moonlight card base.

In the center was placed one of the elements from Dandy laser cut paper, which was embossed with gold embossing powder.  In the center of this was add a die cut circle of Misty Moonlight with a sentiment white embossed on it.  

Off to the side is a layered  Dragonfly, the larger image punched with the Dragonflys punch from the Dandy Garden DSP.  The small lacy image was from the Dandy Laser Cut Paper.  These 2 layers were adhered together at the body of this insect.

In the center was added some 3/8" Misty Moonlight ribbon, and a bow made with the same ribbon was added to the left side of the central circle.

To finish the card, some gold metallic gems were added in the center of the card and to the upper right.

Another Dragonfly Card

 Previously I posted a card made with the Dragonfly bundle and indicated I would post more.

Today I am posting two different cards.

The main image is stamped with Mossy Meadow ink on a Whisper White panel the back ground of which was sponged with Balmy Blue ink. After matting it with Mossy Meadow cardstock it was added to the card front with dimensionals.  Before adding it some braided Mossy Meadow trim and bow was added to the bottom.

Three different patterns of the coordinating DSP, notched at one end were added below the matted panel on the card front.

The Basic Black card base was matted with Whisper White and then Balmy Blue.  The Balmy Blue layer was stamped all over with the small dragonfly stamp.

The Dragon fly punch also has a smaller dragon fly aperture.  This smaller dragon fly was punched and added to the top of the panel.

 The Dragonfly Garden bundle is part of the Dandy Garden Suite which includes the Garden Wishes Bundle, The Suite also includes the Dandy Laser-cut Paper, Dandy Garden Memories & More Card Pack, Dandy Garden Memories & More Cards & Envelopes, Lady bug Trinkets, Mossy Meadow Braided Linen Trim, and Dandy Garden DSP.

The card samples today were made using the Dragonfly Garden Bundle using the trinkets and DSP.

I will be posting one card at a time.

Image of flower stamped onto a strip of Whisper White with the back ground sponged lightly with Balmy Blue ink - with the new sponges.  Stampin' blends wee used to colour the image.  This panel was matted with Basic Black before being added to the DSP on the card front.  1/4" Old Olive ribbon and bow was added to the bottom of the matted panel before it was added with dimensionals.

Two dragon flies were stamped and coloured on a separate piece of Whisper White card stock, punched with the Dragonfly punch and adhered to the card front on the panel with the body only.

Some Proud Peacock rhinestones were randomly added to the card front.
