Beautiful Season - Technostamper #247

Winter has finally arrived!  Not by the calendar, but by the weather.  For the last 2 mornings there has been enough snow on the ground that I had to clear off my car before I could go anywhere.  Yesterday, going to my 2nd day of a 2 day craft show, the roads were very slippery and it took me nearly an hour to get to my location, a distance usually covered in half an hour.  Apparently I was out before the sand trucks were - and I don't have my snow tires on yet.  Silly me, should have put them on over a month ago!

This card is for the Technostamper sketch challenge here.  I wanted to do a snowman, but MJ had already used a snowman on her card.  So I used Beautiful Season, and colored a Winter Bird perched in some holly and ivy.  The holly is covered with ice crystals.

 

The image was stamped with Stazon ink onto Whisper White paper and colored with SU markers and an Aqua painter.  The holly was later covered with chunky red glitter to make it look like they were ice covered.  In retrospect I could have covered them with white crystals.
