I had a remnant of colour washed watercolour paper left over when I made several backgrounds using different colours. Check out my post here. For this background technique 3 different ink colours were applied to an acrylic block, the block spritzed with water, and then placed on a piece of watercolour paper.
For the paper remnant that I used for this card I used: Marina Mist, Pool Party and Tempting Turquoise.
The image was stamped on the background watercolour remnant using Black Stazon ink, and was matted with Old Olive cardstock.
The word was first watercoloured using an aquapainter with Marina Mist ink, with the shaded areas Pacific Point. Then I went over the letters with Frost White glimmer paint.
The embellishment, from the stamp set " Nature's Perfection" was stamped with Stazon Ink onto another remnant of the watercolour wash backgrounds I had created earlier. In that instance I had used Strawberry Slush, Pink Pirouette and Tangerine Tango. The image was stamped 3 times and then cut into 3 floral layers. The edges were painted with a mixture of Dazzling Details and black stampin' glitter. When dry, the flower was reassembled with dimensionals between the layers and attached to the lower left of the sentiment panel with a dimensional. Since I had some of the paper left over, I punched a few itty bitty flowers using the itty bitty flower punch and attached them above the sentiment with glue dots. Rhinestones were placed in the center of these tiny flowers, and a larger rhinestone was added to the flower embellishment.
The base cardstock is Marina Mist cardstock, layered with Whisper White, and this was layered with a piece of Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum. The leaves of this piece were coloured with an Old Olive marker on the wrong side before being attached to the Whisper White layer.
The 3 banners below the sentiment panel are made from pieces of Marina Mist (dotted with Frost White shimmer paint), a piece of the watercolour wash background and embossed with the Happy Hearts folder, and the last with a piece of Old Olive cardstock.
