Born to Ride - Mainly Masculine #175

It's always good to have masculine birthday cards on hand and the challenge at SU Only challenges this week is "mainly Masculine".

This is the first time I have used this Motorcycle stamp set, yet it is such a great masculine set and it makes a wonderful birthday or other event card.

As my son pointed out I inadvertently used the colors of a well known motor cycle dealership - black and orange. However, that was not my intent.

The image of the motorcycle was stamped with Black Memento onto Whisper White.  Some road dirt was stamped beneath it , and then it was punched with the 2 1/2" circle punch.

The base card is a top fold Basic Black card layered with Sahara Sand, and then a .retired DSP that  looks like a road map.

The die cut motorcycle was placed along the left edge with part of the circle over the edge.  This was trimmed off.

The sentiment was stamped with Black Memento, and the "journey" was stamped again on Pumpkin Pie card stock. This was punched out using the Badge punch.  The word stamped on Pumpkin Pie card stock was cut out and placed on the original sentiment using half dimensionals. I also trimmed the edge off the punchie.  I punched another Pumpkin Pie Badge punchie, and this was adhered to the original one.  This was adhered to the card front using dimensionals.

Finally, the banner and sentiment was stamped on to Pumpkin Pie card stock and die cut using  the banner framelit.

I also stamped the "route 66" stamp on Cucumber Crush card stock, cut it out and adhered it on one of the lines that could be a road.
