Gentle Peace - 2 versions

Tomorrow I'm off to Cobourg for another juried Craft Show, but this one is only a 1 day affair.

I've spent the week making items that were sold out at the last 2 shows, and today I made 2 religious Christmas cards (everyone seems to be asking for them).  I used the stamp set: "Gentle Peace" and coloured them with blendabilities.

Here is version 1:

The image was embossed with silver embossing powder and then coloured with blendabilities.  I chose not to colour the background, focusing on the main characters.
The main card is Soft Sky, layered with Marina Mist and then Whisper White which was embossed with the Star embossing folder(all except for an area at the bottom where I stamped the sentiment)

After colouring, the image was cut out and adhered to the card front using dimensionals.

The ribbon is 1/4" Marina Mist cotton

Version 2:

Here the image was stamped with Black Memento ink and the entire image was coloured with blendabilities before cutting out.
Basic card is Coastal Cabana, layered with star embossed Whisper White card stock.  The ribbon is 1/4" Pool Party.

Which do you like better?  Version 1, or Version 2?  Or you can't choose because they're both great!

Thanks for stopping by

Both lovely cards. I prefer the first one. It feels more peaceful and serene. Let us know how the customers like them.
